Armenia removes chief of intelligence from duty
Armenia has removed the head of the National Security Service Argishti Kyaramyan from duty on Thursday as the country suffers heavy losses in fight against Azerbaijani military.
Argishti Kyaramyan was replaced by Mikael Hambardzumyan, according to local sources.
29 years old bureaucrat was appointed to this position in 2020.
Heavy fighting between Armenian and Azerbaijani forces erupted in the disputed Nagorno-Karabakh region on September 27.
Two sides reported that there were dead and wounded both among civilians and military personnel in the clashes. (ILKHA)
