Turkey’s death toll from COVID-19 rises to 8,498
Turkey has reported 57 new deaths from coronavirus in the last 24 hours, bringing the country’s death toll from the virus to 8,498, the country’s Health Ministry said in a statement on Monday.

According to the statement, the number of patients rose to 326,046, an increase of 1,603 patients over the past 24 hours.
While at least 1,412 patients are in critical condition, 286,370 patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital.
10,931,917 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted to detect infections in the country. (ILKHA)
