3 PKK/YPG members neutralized in northern Syria, Turkey’s Defense Ministry says
3 PKK/YPG members were neutralized in the area of the Operation Olive Branch in northern Syria, Turkey’s Defense Ministry said in a statement on Monday.
“3 PKK/YPG members, who opened harassing fire in the area of in the area of the Operation Olive Branch, were neutralized by our commandos,” the statement said.
Operation Olive Branch was a cross-border military operation conducted by the Turkish Armed Forces and Turkish-backed Free Syrian Army (TFSA) in the majority-Kurdish Afrin District of northwest Syria. (ILKHA)
