Erdoğan: Turkey will be one of the most powerful countries of the world in every field
Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke via videoconference at the Inauguration of Reyhanlı Dam, Afrin Stream Davutlar Regulator and Diversion Canal, Tahtaköprü Dam Elevation Project and Hatay Drinking Water Treatment Plant.
Addressing citizens in Hatay via videoconference, Erdoğan said: “As the successors of our ancestors, who fought shoulder to shoulder for a thousand years to render these lands home to us, we will, inshallah, run together to many more successes. Our goal is to elevate Turkey to the level of the most powerful countries of the world politically and economically in every field.”
“Political and social tensions cost our country dearly”
Describing Turkey’s ability to gather its citizens of different origins, religions and characters under a common roof and around shared goals as its most precious asset, Erdoğan said: “It is this social richness of ours that has always been targeted by those who have sought to undermine our national unity and solidarity and our state’s strength. We suffered a lot from this in the past. Political and social tensions cost our country dearly. Thanks be to Allah, our nation, noticing this plot, managed to regroup around shared goals in a short span of time.”
Erdoğan added: “As the successors of our ancestors, who fought shoulder to shoulder for a thousand years to render these lands home to us, we will, inshallah, run together to many more successes. Our goal is to elevate Turkey to the level of the most powerful countries of the world politically and economically in every field.” (ILKHA)
