Violent confrontations erupt between Palestinians and the zionist occupation forces
Violent confrontations erupted between Palestinians and zionst occupation forces (ZOF) in Kafr Qaddum, east of Qalqilya, after the launch of marches against settlement projects and commemorating the anniversary of the Al-Aqsa uprising (intifada).
Local sources reported that dozens of ZOF soldiers quelled the march and attacked the Palestinian youths with rubber-coated metal bullets, tear gas and sound bombs.
15 civilians including three journalists were wounded with metal bullets.
The causalities were taken to the hospital for treatment while others were treated in the field after suffering from tear gas suffocation.
The citizens raised Palestinian flags and chanted patriotic slogans rejecting the plots aimed at undermining the Palestinian national project and denouncing normalization.
For the ninth year in a row, the weekly anti-settlement marches continue to demand the opening of the main road of Kafr Qaddum town which ZOF closed for settlement expansion. (ILKHA)
