UNSC to meet today on Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict
The UN Security Council is holding emergency talks today on the occupied Nagorno-Karabakh region, where clashes have erupted since the weekend.
France and Germany requested the meeting, but some other European council members, including Belgium, Britain and Estonia, support the move
The meeting will be held at 5:00 p.m. (2100 GMT).
On Sunday, heavy fighting between Armenian and Azerbaijani forces erupted in the disputed Nagorno-Karabakh region.
Two sides reported that there were dead and wounded both among civilians and military personnel. (ILKHA)
