Haneyya consoles grieving family of two Gaza fishermen
Head of Hamas’s political bureau Ismail Haneyya on Sunday talked over the phone with the family of al-Zazou and offered his condolences to them over the death of their sons, Hasan and Mahmoud.
Haneyya also expressed his Movement’s solidarity with the family and asserted that efforts were being made to secure the return of their detained son, Yasser, who survived the shooting incident.
Three brothers were fishing on Friday in southern Gaza waters near the maritime border with Egypt when their boat was hit by Egyptian gunfire.
Two of the brothers died and their bodies were handed over by the Egyptian army to the Palestinian side in Gaza, while the third brother was wounded and is still in Egyptian custody. (ILKHA)
