UN to study Putin’s offer for coronavirus vaccine
“We thank President Putin for his generous offer which will be studied by our medical services,” U.N. spokesman Stephane Dujarric said during daily press briefing by his office on Thursday.
“We thank very much President Putin for his offer, and it will be studied by our Medical Services,” Dujarric said
“It’s… everything that we do and as we’ve been saying will be guided by science. So, this will be studied by our… again, we’re very thankful. It was a very generous offer, and it will be studied by our Medical Services,” he added.
The Russian president Vladimir Putin offered Tuesday to provide United Nations staff in New York and around the world the Sputnik-V vaccine in a speech to this year’s General Assembly marking the body’s 75th birthday. (ILKHA)
