Erdoğan, Macron hold a phone conversation
Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has held a phone conversation with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron on Tuesday.
The two leaders discussed bilateral relations, Turkey-EU relations and other regional issues, including the tensions in the Eastern Mediterranean, according to Turkey’s presidency.
The conversation came after a videoconference Erdogan had with German Chancellor Angela Merkel and EU President Charles Michel on the eastern Mediterranean crisis, amid EU efforts to de-escalate the tension with Greece.
