Erdoğan holds video conference with Spanish Prime Minister Sanchez
Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held a video conference with Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez, the Presidency’s Directorate of Communications announced on Friday.
During the video conference in which steps to deepen and strengthen the Turkish-Spanish relations were discussed, regional developments were also evaluated.
Noting that they would maintain the solidarity and cooperation between the two countries just like the support Turkey extended to Spain during the country's fight against the Covid-19 pandemic, Erdoğan expressed his satisfaction over the establishment of mutual determination regarding all issues ranging from increasing trade and investments to continuing dialogue on regional and international issues.
Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Minister of National Defense Hulusi Akar, Director of Communications Fahrettin Altun, Presidential Spokesperson İbrahim Kalın and Chief of the Cabinet to the President Hasan Doğan were also present at the meeting. (ILKHA)
