A 4.5 magnitude earthquake jolts eastern Turkey
A 4.5 magnitude earthquake has struck the Hekimhan district of Turkey’s eastern Malatya province, the country’s Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency announced on Friday.
The earthquake occurred at around 09:54 a.m., with its epicenter at a latitude of 38.6891 degrees north and a longitude of 38.1080 degrees east, and at a depth of 7,21 km.
There were no immediate reports of casualties or damages to buildings. (ILKHA)
