The number of the deaths from coronavirus surpasses 200,000 in the United States
1,197 people have died from coronavirus in the past 24 hours, rising the United States’ death toll from the virus to 200,427, according to Johns Hopkins University.

The U.S. has the highest death toll from coronavirus in the world, followed by Brazil with 133,207 deaths, India with 82,286 deaths and Mexico with 71,678 deaths.
6,790,716 people have until now tested positive for coronavirus in the country, an increase of 36,447 new cases in the past 24 hours.
Until now, at least 4,069,147 patients suffering from the pandemic have recovered and been discharged from hospital in the country.
At least 93,680,752 tests have been carried out to detect coronavirus infections in the country.
New York, which is being hit the hardest by the novel coronavirus in the U.S, has so far reported more than 479,184 confirmed cases, with at least 33,141 deaths.
