Turkish Air Forces joins NATO partners to escort US B-52 Bombers
As a part of Operation Silver Sky conducted within the airspaces of NATO Allies, flights were carried out with a US B-52 aircraft, Turkish Defense Ministry announced in a statement on Saturday.

“The flights over Turkish airspace on 28 August 2020 were supported by 2 KC-135R and 2 F-16 aircraft. An in-flight refueling was provided to the B-52, and an escort mission was carried out by our F-16 aircraft within the international airspace over the Aegean Sea,” the statement said. (ILKHA)
