Criticizing Joe Biden for his remarks about Turkey, Demir said: “The fact that United States Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden expressed openly his opposition to Turkey’s ruling party in his remarks, which went beyond the limits, is stating the known facts. The US and other imperialist countries support all kinds of internal conflicts, including military and civilian coups, to keep countries trying to break their shackles under their yoke. We have witnessed that all these methods have been tried in Turkey. It is regrettable that Turkish government, which still sees the United States as a strategic ally, has not learned a lesson from all of this.”

“The Kurdish issue is the most important problem in the region and should be solved definitively”

Touching upon Kurdish issue, which is derived from discrimination against the Kurdish people by relevant countries, Demir continued his remarks as follows: “The imperialist countries, especially the USA, have been taking advantage of the lack of resolution on the Kurdish issue for over a hundred years in order to control our region. The denial and othering policies of the states that rule the region where the Kurds live constitute a very useful area for US-based imperialism. Declaring the intent to resolve the Kurdish issue on the basis of human rights and justice will enable peace, stability and development in our geography, especially in Turkey and neighboring countries. The future of this geography obliges the Turks, Arabs and Persians to be in unity with the Kurds, which is the main element of this geography. For this reason, the problem should be resolved by fulfilling the Brotherhood law on the basis of justice and equality by abandoning the policies that refer the Kurdish issue to the imperialists.”

“Treason agreements with the zionist occupation regime”

Evaluating the normalization deal between the zionist occupation regime and the UAE, Demir said: “After the recent normalization agreement between the UAE and the zionist regime, it was claimed that Oman, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Morocco took the pulse of Islamic world to take a normalization step with the zionist occupation regime. The normalization steps with the Zionist regime, which began with the Bahrain workshop where the economic dimension of the century betrayal agreement was announced, are to be completed by formal agreements. The steps taken to legitimize the zionist occupation regime's annexation of the Palestinian territories have been alarming with the UAE agreement. This agreement has not gotten enough negative reaction by Muslim public opinion and international organizations, and the Palestinian people have been left alone. The silence of the Islamic world will encourage collaborationist leaders to accelerate their similar steps. The Muslims should take action against any steps towards recognizing the illegitimate existence of the Zionist regime and its annexation activities.
