Retail sales volume decreases by 0.8% on annual basis in Turkey
Retail sales volume with constant prices (2015=100) has decreased by 0.8% in June 2020 compared with the same month of previous year, Turkish Statistical Institute said in a statement on Friday.
According to the statement, in the same month non-food (except automotive fuel) sales decreased by 2.8%, automotive fuel sales decreased by 0.9%, food, drinks and tobacco sales increased by 3.0%.
Retail sales volume increased by 16.5% on monthly basis
Retail sales volume with constant prices increased by 16.5% in June 2020 compared with the previous month. In the same month food, drinks and tobacco sales increased by 1.9%, non-food (except automotive fuel) sales increased by 24.8%, automotive fuel sales increased by 23.4%.
Retail turnover increased by 9.3% on annual basis
Retail turnover with current prices increased by 9.3% in June 2020 compared with the same month of previous year. In the same month food, drinks and tobacco sales increased by 18.2%, non-food (except automotive fuel) sales increased by 9.9%, automotive fuel sales decreased by 6.2%.
Retail turnover increased by 20.6% on monthly basis
Retail turnover with current prices increased by 20.6% in June 2020 compared with the previous month. In the same month food, drinks and tobacco sales increased by 5.1%, non-food (except automotive fuel) sales increased by 26.3%, automotive fuel sales increased by 43.4%. (ILKHA)
