Industrial production rises by 0.1% annually in Turkey
Industrial production has risen by 0.1% annually in Turkey, the country's statistical institute said in a statement on Friday.
According to the statement, when the subsectors of the industry (based on 2015=100) were examined, mining and quarrying index decreased by 8.0%, manufacturing index increased by 1.0% and electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply index decreased by 6.4% in June 2020, compared with same month of previous year.
Industrial production increased by 17.6% monthly
When the subsectors of the industry were examined, mining and quarrying index increased by 7.8%, manufacturing index increased by 19.0% and electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply index increased by 6.7% in June 2020, compared with previous month.
Industrial production decreased by 16.9% compared with the same quarter of the previous year
In the second quarter of 2020, calendar adjusted industrial production decreased by 16.9% compared with the same quarter of the previous year. The seasonally and calendar adjusted industrial production decreased by 20.2% compared with the previous quarter. (ILKHA)
