HAMAS urges popular uprising in J’lem and W. Bank against occupation
The Hamas Movement has called on the Palestinian citizens in Jerusalem and the West Bank to rise up in defense of the Aqsa Mosque and step up their resistance of the occupation to confront the plans targeting their presence on their land.
In press remarks on Monday, Hamas spokesman Abdul-Latif al-Qanu said that israel’s ongoing barbaric aggression against Jerusalem, the Jewish settlers’ daily break-ins at the Aqsa Mosque and the recent intents to build 1,000 settler units in the city “constitutes a real threat to the Aqsa Mosque and the Jerusalemite people.”
The spokesman warned against a systematic israeli campaign aimed at displacing the Jerusalemite people and depriving them of their lands and homes in order to Judaize the holy city and impose full control over the Aqsa Mosque. (ILKHA)
