Building collapses in Egypt: 8 dead
A five-storey house collapsed in Egypt on Friday morning, killing at least 8 people.
The country's Civil Protection Forces recovered the body of the victims from the rubble of the building in the al-Ragabi area of al-Mahalla al-Kubra city, Gharbiya Governorate.
The bodies were then transferred to the morgue at Mahalla General Hospital, according to local media reports.
Tarek Rahmy, the Governor of Gharbiya, and the mayors of the cities of Tanta and al-Mahalla went to the scene.
An investigation is underway to find out the cause of the incident. (ILKHA)
