Turkey’s death toll from coronavirus reaches 5,659
Turkey has reported 14 new deaths from coronavirus, bringing the country’s death toll from the virus to 5,659.

In a statement posted on his Twitter account, Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca shared the latest official coronavirus figures in the country on Friday.
According to the statement, the number of confirmed cases rose to 228,924, after 942 more people tested positive for the virus over the past 24 hours.
While 542 patients are in critical condition, 212,557 patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital.
4,711,095 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted to detect infections in the country. (ILKHA)
