Coronavirus worldwide: The number of confirmed cases rises to 16,424,841
652,343 people have so far died from coronavirus around the world.
The coronavirus outbreak, which was first identified in Wuhan, China and declared a pandemic by World Health Organization on March 11, is continuing to claim the lives of thousands of people across the world.
However, the countries began to ease measures against the coronavirus pandemic, which has been severely affecting the world economy.
The United States, the current epicenter of the pandemic, has the highest number of confirmed cases of coronavirus with 4,371,839 cases, followed by Brazil with 2,419,901 cases, India with 1,437,976 cases, Russia with 812,485 cases, South Africa with 445,433 cases, Mexico with 390,516 cases, Peru with 384,797 cases and Chile with 345,790 cases.
A total of 10,052,978 people suffering from coronavirus have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital worldwide. (ILKHA)
