US: The number of deaths from coronavirus reaches 128,857
346 people have died from coronavirus in the past 24 hours in the United States, rising the country’s death toll from the virus to 128,857, according to Johns Hopkins University.

The U.S. has the highest death toll from coronavirus in the world, followed by Brazil with 58,406 deaths, the United Kingdom with 43,575 deaths and Italy with 34,744 deaths.
At least 2,684,266 people have until now tested positive for coronavirus in the United States. Of those, 15,864 patients are in critical condition.
Until now, at least 1,122,655 patients suffering from the pandemic have recovered and been discharged from hospital in the country.
At least 33,203,107 tests have been carried out to detect coronavirus infections in the country.
New York, which is being hit the hardest by the novel coronavirus in the U.S, has so far reported more than 417,328 confirmed cases, with at least 31,496 deaths.
According to Worldometer, a reference website that provides counters and real-time statistics for diverse topics, coronavirus pandemic has so far claimed the lives of at least 509,215 people across the world. (ILKHA)
