A 5.5 magnitude earthquake hits western Turkey
A 5.5 magnitude earthquake has hit the Saruhanlı district of Turkey’s western Van province, the country’s Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency announced on Friday.
The earthquake occurred at around 10:21, with its epicenter at a latitude of 38.7676 degrees north and a longitude of 27.8018 degrees east, and at a depth of 9.29 km.
There were no immediate reports of casualties or damages to buildings. (ILKHA)
