5 killed in an attack in Afghanistan
3 Afghan police officers and two Taliban members were killed and 16 people wounded when Taliban attacked on a police station in Afghanistan's northern province of Baghlan Saturday night, a local official said on Sunday.
According to the local official, Taliban militants stormed Nahrin district police station in eastern part of Pul-e-Khumri capital of Baghlan province.
11 Afghan national police and Afghan local police members and five militants were wounded during the attack.
The injured police personnel were taken to hospitals early Sunday, the official added. (ILKHA)
