The coronavirus outbreak, which was first identified in Wuhan, China and declared a pandemic by World Health Organization on March 11, is continuing to claim the lives of thousands of people across the world.

However, the countries began to ease measures against the coronavirus pandemic, which has been severely affecting the world economy.

The United States, the current epicenter of the pandemic, has the highest number of confirmed cases of coronavirus with 2,162,228 cases, followed by Brazil with 867,882 cases, Russia with 528,964 cases, India with 333,008 cases, the United Kingdom with 295,889 cases, Spain with 291,008 cases, Italy with 236,989 cases, Peru with 229,736 cases, Germany with 187,671, Iran with 187,427 cases, Turkey with 178,239 cases, Chile 174,293 cases and France with 157,220 cases.

A total of 4,128,318 have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital worldwide. (ILKHA)
