According to the agency, the epicenter of the quake was the Karlıova district of Bingöl province, at a depth of 5 kilometers.

The quake was also felt in near provinces such as Erzurum, Diyarbakır, Muş and Elazığ.

A watchtower in the Karlıova-Kaynarpınar Gendarmerie Station Command collapsed and a security guard has been trapped under the debris while two other people were slightly hurt, Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu said. (ILKHA)
