At least 69 civilians killed in Nigeria
Boko Haram members killed at least 69 people and destroyed a village to the ground in northern Nigeria's Borno state on Tuesday.
Boko Haram members attacked the village of Faduma Koloram, in Gubio local government area of Borno state. They also stole 1,200 cattle and camels from the village during the attack, the local sources reported.
The militants attacked because they suspected villagers of sharing information on the group’s movements with security authorities in the region, the reports said.
Boko Haram and DAISH have been carrying out attacks and activities in Nigeria's northeast.
Both groups have repeatedly launched deadly attacks against the security forces in the country.
More than 36 thousand people lost their lives and nearly 2 million people were forcibly displaced in the violence that have been going on for 10 years in the country. (ILKHA)
