Turkey sends medical supplies to Paraguay
Turkey has sent medical supplies to Paraguay, Paraguayan Foreign Ministry announced in a statement on Tuesday.
“The Embassy of the Republic of Paraguay in Turkey reports that the Turkish government has already shipped to our country a major donation of medical equipment to combat the COVID-19 pandemic. They were sent via San Pablo, Brazil, and will be arriving in the country in the coming days,” the statement said.
According to the statement, the list of supplies and equipment donated by Turkey consists of the following items:
- 50,000 protective suits.
- 30,000 N95 protective masks.
- 100,000 surgical masks.
- 2,000 goggles
- 50,000 protective footwears.
During the pandemic, Turkey provided medical aid to many countries, including the United States, United Kingdom, Spain and Italy, to assist in fighting the coronavirus. This help includes face masks, protective overalls, test kits and sanitizer gels. (ILKHA)
