According to Indian Health Ministry, 273 people have died from coronavirus in the past 24 hours, bring the country’s death toll from the virus to 6,348.

India's case fatality rate is relatively lower at 2.80%, against the global 6.13%, as of 3 June.

8,944 patients are being treated in intense care units in the country, which has currently the largest number of confirmed cases in Asia.
