1,795,665 people have until now tested positive for coronavirus in the country, an increase of 25,305 new cases in the past 24 hours.

Until now, about 519,715 patients suffering from the pandemic have recovered and been discharged from hospital in the country.

At least 16,844,640 tests have been carried out to detect coronavirus infections in the country.

The U.S. has the highest death toll from coronavirus in the world, followed by the United Kingdom with 38,161 deaths, Italy with 33,229 deaths and France with 28,714 deaths.

New York, which is being hit the hardest by the novel coronavirus in the U.S, has so far reported more than 377,714 confirmed cases, with at least 29,751 deaths.
