Iran reports 2,282 new coronavirus cases over the last 24 hours
The number of deaths from coronavirus pandemic has risen to 7,734 in Iran after 57 new deaths were reported, the country’s Health Ministry Spokesman Kianoush Jahanpour announced on Saturday.
2,282 more people have tested positive for coronavirus, taking the number of confirmed cases to 148,950 in the country, according to Kianoush Jahanpour.
2,553 patients are in critical condition and of those suffering from the disease, 116, 827 patients have gained recovery.
So far, 915,998 tests have been taken across the country to detect infected cases.
According to Worldometer, which is a reference website that provides counters and real-time statistics for diverse topics, the global death toll from coronavirus has surpassed 367,288 with 6,052,421 cases and more than 2,675,408 recoveries. (ILKHA)
