Turkey eases measures against coronavirus pandemic
“The restriction on intercity travel has been completely lifted from June 1,” Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said in a press conference after presidential cabinet meeting on Thursday.
“All of the nurseries and day care homes will open on June 1. Business owners over the age of 65 will be able to open their businesses, provided they comply with mask, social distance and sanitation rules,” Erdoğan said.
Civil servants, who are on administrative leave or are included in the flexible working system, will start to work in line with normal hours of work as of June 1. Motorway service areas will also start serving on June 1st. Beaches, national parks and gardens will be operational as of June 1 in line with the determined rules. (ILKHA)
