Dozens of Palestinian citizens flocked to the Ibrahimi Mosque in the Old City of al-Khalil to perform the dawn prayers, amid entry restrictions imposed by the Israeli occupation forces.

The zionist occupation regime keeps a tight grip on the Old City of al-Khalil, where the Ibrahimi Mosque is located, and uses military gates and barriers to besiege the Mosque and restrict the movement of Muslim worshipers.

The Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem also reopened its doors to worshipers and visitors, amid tight security measures.

On Monday, Palestinian premier Mohamed Shtayyeh announced that Palestinian places of worship would be reopened as of the dawn of Tuesday as part of steps to ease coronavirus lockdown. (ILKHA)
