Two Palestinians injured in settlers’ armed attack in W. Bank
Two Palestinian young men suffered bullet injuries on Monday morning when armed Zionist settlers attacked them and opened fire at them on the plains of al-Mughayyir village in northern Ramallah.
Local activist Khadem Hajj Mohamed said that a horde of extremist zionist settlers brutalized and opened fire at young shepherds on the plains, which are located between al-Mughayyir village and Turmus Ayya village.
Hajj Mohamed added that one shepherd suffered a bullet injury in his abdomen and the other in his leg during the gunfire attack.
Later, the soldiers of occupation regime showed up to protect the zionist settlers and fired tear gas canisters at local residents who rushed to the area to help the shepherds.
The victims were transferred to Palestine Hospital in Ramallah for medical assistance.
Earlier, a spokesperson for the zionist occupation army falsely claimed that the victims tried to stab soldiers near the settlement of Amihai, located near Shiloh in the West Bank, adding that none of the soldiers was hurt.
He added that the young men were shot at and neutralized, without providing further details. (ILKHA)
