About 100,000 people die from coronavirus in the United States
At least 1,036 people have died from coronavirus in the past 24 hours, rising the United States death toll from the virus to 98,750, according to Johns Hopkins University.

1,670,717 people have until now tested positive for coronavirus in the country, an increase of 3,889 new cases in the past 24 hours.
Until now, about 447,011 patients suffering from the pandemic have recovered and been discharged from hospital in the country.
More than 14 million tests were performed to detect coronavirus infections in the country.
The U.S. has the highest death toll from coronavirus in the world, followed by the United Kingdom with 36,675 deaths, Italy with 32,735 deaths and France with 28,678 deaths.
New York, which is being hit the hardest by the novel coronavirus in the U.S, has so far reported more than 369,656 confirmed cases, with at least 29,112 deaths.
According to Worldometer, a reference website that provides counters and real-time statistics for diverse topics, coronavirus pandemic has so far claimed the lives of at least 344,585 people across the world. (ILKHA)
