Gümüş issues a message on Eid Al Fitr
Leader of Hizbullah Community Edip Gümüş issued a written message, congratulating all Muslims on Eid al-Fitr.
In his message, Gümüş pointed out the current condition of Islamic World and underlined the importance of strong brotherhood among Muslims.
He quoted from Holy Qur’an as saying: “Race toward forgiveness from your Lord and a Garden whose width is like the width of the heavens and earth, prepared for those who believed in Allah and His messengers. That is the bounty of Allah which He gives to whom He wills, and Allah is the possessor of great bounty.”
Gümüş, who started his words with the 21st verse of the Hadid period, wished that Eid Al Fitr would be instrumental in the removal of the troubles and calamities in Islamic World as well as the end of all kinds of material and spiritual ills and troubles that the Ummah has fallen into.
“Domestic programs should continue after Ramadan”
Stating that efforts should be made to maintain the beautiful behaviors obtained during Ramadan, especially recitation of Quran, lecture and conversation rings created in these days, when people sheltered in houses to prevent the epidemic, Gümüş said: “Thus, these troubled days will be transformed into opportunity and good.”
Because of the epidemic, as is the case all over the world, as a precaution, most of our people were forced to close their homes. I extend my congratulations and thanks to my brothers who showed extraordinary solidarity by taking serious risks in this troubled process, who continued their work without interruption with dedication, and who provided material and moral support. May My Lord preserve them all and increase their reward.
“The solution of the troubles and problems we have experienced is the lack of unity among Muslims”
Pointing out the negative picture of the Ummah, Gümüş emphasized that Islamic administrators, members of the Islamic organization and all Muslims should think seriously about the reasons of the current calamities.
The biggest problem of the Ummah and the most important reason for both the material and spiritual troubles it is experiencing is the confusion, strife and disorganization it is in. In this respect, the most urgent solution to the problems that we have been experiencing is to establish the unity of Muslims and the law of brotherhood among us again. For this reason, we talk about unity and brotherhood with every means and insistence.
We remind all Muslims, especially the administrators who have Islamic sensitivity: Our Lord has made us brothers. We have no choice but to fulfill the necessity of this and to establish a unity. Therefore, the administrators of all Islamic organizations should act with this awareness and take the lead in taking steps in this direction.
At the end of his message, Gümüş once again congratulated Muslims on Ramadan and prayed to for those who had been away from their family and friends due to emigration, captivity or illness would spend the following holidays with their loved ones. (ILKHA)
The full text of the message is as follows:
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
Race toward forgiveness from your Lord and a Garden whose width is like the width of the heavens and earth, prepared for those who believed in Allah and His messengers. That is the bounty of Allah which He gives to whom He wills, and Allah is the possessor of great bounty.” (Surat Al-Hadid verse 21)
May endless praise be to Allah who have allowed us to reach Ramadan which is the month in which the Qur'an was revealed as a guide for humanity with clear proofs of guidance. May salat and salam be to the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), of whose ummah we are honored to be members.
I would like to congratulate my friends and the whole Islamic Ummah on the Ramadan holiday, especially the families of those who have fallen into dungeons, migrated and attained martyrdom while fighting for the sake of Islam, and those who are still fighting for the rule of Islam. I pray to our Lord that this holiday will be a means to the end of the troubles and calamities experienced, and to the end of all kinds of physical and spiritual ills and troubles that the Ummah has fallen into.
Ramadan is a period of time when the spiritual atmosphere is high and the prayers are accepted and it has great benefits for Muslims. The efforts should be made to maintain the beautiful behaviors obtained during Ramadan, especially recitation of Quran, lecture and conversation rings that have been carried out in these days when people sheltered in houses to prevent the epidemic. Thus, these troubled days will be transformed into opportunity and good.”
As you know, because of the epidemic, as is the case all over the world, as a precaution, most of our people were forced to close their homes. I extend my congratulations and thanks to my brothers who showed extraordinary solidarity by taking serious risks in this troubled process, who continued their work without interruption with dedication, and who provided material and moral support. May My Lord preserve them all and increase their reward.
It is not clear how long this virus will last and the extent of its impact. I believe that as all Muslims, all brothers, we will show how patience is shown, how we have always benefited programmatically from the conditions under which we live, how we should take care of each other financially and spiritually in this process just as we showed in the past.
Islamic administrators, members of the Islamic organization and all Muslims should think seriously about the reasons of the current calamities.
I would like to once again congratulate all Muslims on Ramadan. I pray to God that those who had been away from their family and friends due to emigration, captivity or illness would spend the following holidays with their loved ones.
Please keep us in your prayers. Take care of yourself.
Your Brother, Edip Gümüş
