Coronavirus worldwide: The number of confirmed cases surpasses 5 million
More than 325,214 people have so far died from the coronavirus pandemic around the world.
The coronavirus outbreak, which was first identified in Wuhan, China and declared a pandemic by World Health Organization on March 11, is continuing to claim the lives of thousands of people across the world.
The number of deaths from coronavirus outbreak is rising. While measures against the pandemic, which the countries of the world are desperate for, are being strictly implemented, the disease is severely affecting the world economy.
The United States, the current epicenter of the pandemic, has the highest number of confirmed cases of coronavirus with 1,571,131 cases, followed by Russia with 308,705 cases, Spain with 278,803 cases, Brazil with 271,885 cases, the United Kingdom with 248,818 cases, Italy with 226,699 cases, France with 180,809 cases, Germany with 177,842 cases, Turkey with 151,615 cases, Iran with 126,949 cases, India with 106,886 cases, Peru with 99,483 and China with 82,965 cases.
A total of 1,976,368 patients have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital worldwide. (ILKHA)
