Iran reports 2,346 new coronavirus cases
The number of deaths from coronavirus pandemic has risen to 7,183 in Iran after 64 new deaths were reported, the country’s Health Ministry Spokesman Kianoush Jahanpour announced on Wednesday.
2,346 new cases were confirmed with coronavirus, taking the number of confirmed cases to 126,949 in the country, according to Kianoush Jahanpour.
2,673 patients are in critical condition and of those suffering from the disease, 98, 808 patients have gained recovery.
So far, 731,213 tests have been taken across the country to detect infected cases.
According to Worldometer, which is a reference website that provides counters and real-time statistics for diverse topics, the global death toll from coronavirus has surpassed 325,320 with 5,006,675 cases and more than 1,973,815 recoveries. (ILKHA)
