The number of deaths from coronavirus rises to 92,064 in the United States
At least 1, 068 people have died from coronavirus in the past 24 hours, rising the United States death toll from the virus to 92,064, according to Johns Hopkins University.
1,552,140 people have until now tested positive for coronavirus in the country, an increase of 22,996 new cases in the past 24 hours.
Until now, about 359,000 patients suffering from the pandemic have recovered and been discharged from hospital in the country.
More than 12 million tests were performed to detect coronavirus infections in the country.
The U.S. has the highest death toll from coronavirus in the world, followed by Russia, Spain and Brazil.
New York, which is being hit the hardest by the novel coronavirus in the U.S, has so far reported more than 361,200 confirmed cases, with at least 28,480 deaths.
