Coronavirus worldwide: The number of confirmed cases surpasses 4,890,000
More than 320,000 people have so far died from the coronavirus pandemic around the world.
The coronavirus outbreak, which was first identified in Wuhan, China and declared a pandemic by World Health Organization on March 11, is continuing to claim the lives of thousands of people across the world.
The number of deaths from coronavirus outbreak is rising. While measures against the pandemic, which the countries of the world are desperate for, are being strictly implemented, the disease is severely affecting the world economy.
The United States, the current epicenter of the pandemic, has the highest number of confirmed cases of coronavirus with 1,550,294 cases, followed by Russia with 290,678 cases, Spain with 278,188 cases, Brazil with 255,368 cases, the United Kingdom with 246,406 cases, Italy with 225,886 cases, France with 179,927 cases, Germany with 177,289 cases, Turkey with 150,593 cases, Iran with 122,492 cases, India with 101,261 cases, Peru with 94,933 and China with 82,960 cases.
A total of 1,909,433 patients have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital worldwide. (ILKHA)
