Turkey’s Presidential Cabinet convenes under President Erdoğan’s chairmanship
Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan chaired the virtual meeting of the Presidential Cabinet at Huber Villa in Istanbul on Monday.
This is the eighth meeting held via video-conferencing due to coronavirus pandemic.
The meeting will raise the issue of curfew restrictions, which will be imposed next week during Eid al-Fitr.
The travel ban could be lifted entirely as of May 28, or could only be enforced in a few provinces.
After the Cabinet meeting, President Erdogan is expected to make a statement. (ILKHA)
