1,806 new cases were confirmed with coronavirus, taking the number of confirmed cases to 122,492 in the country, according to Kianoush Jahanpour.

2,294 patients are in critical condition and of those suffering from the disease, 95,661 patients have gained recovery.

So far, 701,640 tests have been taken across the country to detect infected cases.

According to Worldometer, which is a reference website that provides counters and real-time statistics for diverse topics, the global death toll from coronavirus has surpassed 317,304 with 4,837,361 cases and more than 1,872,416 recoveries. (ILKHA)
