WHO: At least 29 people die from cholera outbreak in Yemen in 2020
At least 29 people have died from cholera outbreak in Yemen since January 2020, announced the World Health Organization country office in a statement on Twitter.
“Since January 2020, 112,851 suspected cases of cholera were reported, of which 56 were confirmed including 29 associated deaths across 200 districts,” the statement said, adding that in response, WHO supported 138 Diarrhea Treatment Centers and 58 Oral Rehydration Corners, most of which are in priority districts.
