1,481 new cases were confirmed with coronavirus, taking the number of confirmed cases to 110,767 in the country, according to Kianoush Jahanpour.

2,713 patients are in critical condition and of those suffering from the disease, 88,357 have gained recovery.

So far, 586,699 tests have been taken across the country to detect infected cases.

According to Worldometer, which is a reference website that provides counters and real-time statistics for diverse topics, the global death toll from coronavirus has surpassed 287,702, with 4,277,269 cases and more than 1,537,700 recoveries. (ILKHA)
