1,383 new cases were confirmed with coronavirus, taking the number of confirmed cases to 107,603 in the country, according to Kianoush Jahanpour.

2,675 patients are in critical condition and of those suffering from the disease, 86,143 have gained recovery.

So far, 586,699 tests have been taken across the country to detect infected cases.

According to Worldometer, which is a reference website that provides counters and real-time statistics for diverse topics, the global death toll from coronavirus has surpassed 280,724 with 4,118,655 cases and more than 1,447,602 recoveries. (ILKHA)
