US death toll from coronavirus surpasses 65,000
At least 1,811 people have died from coronavirus in the past 24 hours, rising the United States death toll from the virus to 65,783.

1,132,089 people have until now tested positive for coronavirus in the country, an increase of 3,942 new cases in the past 24 hours.
Until now, 161,782 patients suffering from the pandemic have recovered and been discharged from hospital in the country.
The U.S. has the highest death toll from coronavirus in the world, followed by Italy and Spain.
New York, which is being hit the hardest by the novel coronavirus in the U.S, has so far reported more than 315,222 confirmed cases, with at least 24,069 deaths.
