65 coronavirus patients lost their lives in the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 6,156 in the country.

802 new cases were confirmed with coronavirus, taking the number of confirmed cases to 96,448 in the country, according to Kianoush Jahanpour.

Some 2,787 patients are being treated in intensive care units at the moment.

Until now, 77,350 patients suffering from the novel coronavirus have recovered and been discharged from hospitals, Jahanpour added.

So far, 484,541 tests have been taken across the country to detect infected cases. (ILKHA)
