71 coronavirus patients lost their lives in the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 6,028 in the country.

983 new cases were confirmed with coronavirus, taking the number of confirmed cases to 94,640 in the country, according to Kianoush Jahanpour.

Some 2,976 patients are being treated in intensive care units at the moment.

Until now, 75,103 patients suffering from the novel coronavirus have recovered and been discharged from hospitals, Jahanpour added.

So far, 463,295 tests have been taken across the country to detect infected cases. (ILKHA)
