96 coronavirus patients lost their lives in the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 5,806 in the country.

991 new cases were confirmed with coronavirus, taking the number of confirmed cases to 91,472 in the country, according to Kianoush Jahanpour.

Some 3,011 patients are being treated in intensive care units at the moment.

Until now, 70,933 patients suffering from the novel coronavirus have recovered and been discharged from hospitals, Jahanpour added. (ILKHA)
