60 coronavirus patients lost their lives in the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 5,710 in the country.

1,153 new cases were confirmed with coronavirus, taking the number of confirmed cases to 90,481 in the country, according to Kianoush Jahanpour.

Some 3,079 patients are being treated in intensive care units at the moment.

69,657 patients suffering from the novel coronavirus have recovered and been discharged from hospitals so far, Jahanpour noted.

Until now, 421,313 tests for the virus have been conducted in the country. (ILKHA)
