Death toll from coronavirus pandemic surges pass 50,000 in the United States
The number of confirmed coronavirus cases has reached 925,758 in the country, an increase of 32,331 cases in the past 24 hours.

The U.S. has the highest fatalities from coronavirus pandemic with 52,217 deaths, followed by Italy and Spain.
Until now, 110,432 patients suffering from the pandemic have recovered and been discharged from hospital in the country.
New York, which is being hit the hardest by the novel coronavirus in the U.S, has so far reported more than 277,445 confirmed cases, followed by New Jersey with 102,196 cases and Massachusetts with 50,969 cases.
According to Worldometer, a reference website that provides counters and real-time statistics for diverse topics, coronavirus pandemic has so far claimed the lives of more than 197,353 people across the world. (ILKHA)
